Façade Maintenance via Rope Access | Auckland

Façade Maintenance Using Rope Access

Our MB Property Services rope access team recently carried out façade maintenance and remedial works on this Auckland residential building.

Working from a twin-rope system allowed our technicians to access the exterior façade directly without the need for extensive scaffolding or other large access systems.

Rope access is particularly useful for ongoing building maintenance where individual areas of a façade require inspection, cleaning, sealing or remedial work.

Exterior Building Maintenance

Depending on the building and its condition, our façade maintenance work can include:

  • Façade inspections and condition assessments

  • Sealant and silicone repairs

  • Leak investigation and remedial work

  • Exterior painting and coatings

  • Window and glazing maintenance

  • Building and façade washing

  • Concrete and precast remedial work

  • Flashing and waterproofing repairs

  • Difficult-access maintenance and repairs

All work is planned around the building, access requirements, surrounding public areas and the specific maintenance being undertaken.

Why Rope Access?

For suitable buildings, rope access gives technicians direct access to areas that can otherwise be difficult or expensive to reach.

It can also reduce the amount of equipment required at ground level and minimise disruption to residents, tenants and building operations.

Our technicians carry out rope access building maintenance throughout Auckland for apartment buildings, commercial properties and other multi-storey facilities.
